Nearly every PC sold today (including the Macintosh) leverages designs introduced with the IBM 5150 PC, released by IBM (with technology from Microsoft and Intel) in 1981.
The IBM PC was inspired by microcomputer designs of the 1970s, each combining a computer display terminal with a microprocessor and local storage.
Nearly every personal computing device sold today still retains this same 30+ year old design ... display, keyboard, processor and local storage.

With the first board meeting complete, wJones & Co. is now official.
There were five items on the agenda today, but the first took place well away from the conference table. We cooked. There is a large kitchen on the business floor and each member of the management team prepared a dish for lunch. Regular companies might call this a team building exercise, but being a group that
groks the new economy, we simply call it lunch.
