Once a system could store the essence of a symbol so universally that the Goal of lawn maintenance could be applied on Earth and on Mars, a way was needed to store information at specific points in context. This would allow a machine to distinguish between a memory of an actual event on Earth and a fictional event from a story about Mars, or know the precise differences between Greek and American yogurt.

Figure - Hypergraph for Food--Product Context<br /><br />The “brain” of a metacomputer contains a “fabric” of symbols, objects and logic known to the system.  Platonic Forms can “place” knowledge by linking to regions of context between symbols, such as at  food--product or greek--yogurt.  This allows knowledge of yogurt to be defined with contextual specificity and brevity, as the greek Form of yogurt can be defined merely by the difference between it and the yogurt “Universal” Form.  As contextual versions, such as greek and american are learned, the symbolic knowledge of both “yogurt” and “greek” will be enhanced, containing all manifestations across all points in context.

A special graph format was developed to store all the possible connections between every symbol known to a system, enabling every piece of information stored in Platonic Forms to be placed at points of relevant context. The numerous links of this format create a multi-dimensional contextual fabric that spans all time and context. Context may include links to proximity (i.e. on Mars) to people and objects (i.e. Ashtin Foods -- products), locations and more. This made it possible to create clear and specific regions of context, such as (((((metal--blade)--grass)--swipe)--(spring--summer))--Earth) or (((((sonic--blade)--crystal)--snap)--(sci fi--story))--Mars). This new graph was called a Purpose hypergraph.

Metacomputer administrators will need to audit and review the acquisition of knowledge, and enhance its essence with any company specific meaning.  Agents assisting marketing, sales and manufacturing processes will also immediately “know” yogurt and company Purpose.
